A Nymphenburg crucifixion group, circa 1780
modelled by Franz Anton Bustelli, with Christ crucified on a cross and his mother, the Virgin Mary, as Mater Dolorosa (Our Lady of Sorrows), impressed shield mark between the incised initials M I C
Crucifix: 80cm. high overall
figure of Christ: 21.cm. high, the figure of the V🅰irgin: 17.6cm. high
This lot is dated circa 1780, and not circa 1760 as previously stated.
