Since 1975, Tina Barney has taken colourful images of her friends and family, documenting the interpersonal relations between her subjects across the globe. ‘The Puppy’ was featured in her series Theatre of Manners that documented her own family and the events that bro💮ught them together. Barney’s images are included in the permanent collections of numerous institutions, including The Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum, both in New York, the Museum 💫of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Nicola Erni Collection in Zug, Switzerland.
