The nimbate (haloed) Maharana Bhim Singh (1778 - 1828) of Udaipur seated in a procession on his impressive, caparisoned white stallion while holding the stem of his hookah. He is looking upward - barely noticing a petitioner at the lower left. Accompanied by attendants and bearers ceremonially holding a white flywhisk chauri and a black royal standard which also functions as a sunshade for the rana - peeking out at the upper right corner. The gold-edg꧑ed cumulus clouds align above a dark blue sky.
