An extraordinary treasure to come by, the present Mercator features a fine cloisonné enamel dial which depicts Hong Kong's iconic Aqua Luna red sail junk boat. This dial is seen on the 1997 Mercator, which was made to celebrate the handover of Hong Kong to China. While the regular production of the said collection is usually seen on pink gold, the present example is encased in platinum with engraved case number "No 1".
