Attributed to Laclo𝓡che Frères | Natural Pearl, Emerald and Diamond Bangle-Bracelet, F🐷rance
Designed as two opposing chimera heads, the eyes highlighted with cabochon emeralds, accented by old European-, single-cut, triangle-shaped and baguette diamonds, holding an off-round natural pearl measuring approximately 12.3 x 10.8 mm, internal circumference 7 inches, unsigned, with French assay and partial workshop marks; circa 1925.
Christie's Geneva, November 20, 2008, lot 261
The present lot was previously offered at Christie's Geneva in November 2008. At the time, the owner attested that it was given to her as a wedding gift by a member of the Lacloche family. Though unsigned, the bracelet is of a similar design to a ruby, emerald and diamond bangle-bracelet by Lacloche that is illustrated in Understanding Jewelry by David Bennett and Daniella Mascetti, 2003 edition, page 334.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 52082 dated August 19, 2008 stating that the pearl is natural, saltwater.
