The present watch retailed by Cook & Jaques as the signature on the dial suggests, is a multi brand retail outlet and restorer that was in operation at New Jersey from 1871 to 1930s. Housed in a rare large 52 mm pink gold case that was uncommon for at the time it was produced. The present piece features many great qualities, from it’s condition as it shows no signs of restoration to the uncommon three-steps enamel dial seen as a sign of excellence in artistry. However, among all the great qualities of this watch, to the best of our knowledge we believe that the movement of this watch was supplied by Victorin Émile Piguet.
