A Fabergé jewe♓lled gold-mounted guilloché enamel nephrite hand seal, workma🦄ster possibly Michael Perkhin, St Petersburg, 1899-1903

designed as a gold serpent twisted around a nephrite cylinder, the serpent’s eyes set with rose-cut diamonds and its head mounted with a cabochon ruby, the circular base with alternating red and white enamel drop motifs over a row of beading, with a carnelian matrix incised with St George slaying the dragon and inscribed ‘D.St.G.’, struck Fabergé and with workmaster’s initials, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 2024
