A Palissy-type moulded large dish "plat au🙈x reptiles", circa 1600
the deep oval dish moulded in relief and applied with an undulating snake on an island moulded with leaves and shells, above a small frog, below waves reserved with four fish, the🌠 border with frogs, a lizard, crayfish, a coiled grass snake and insects among leaves, ferns and shells, the underside with mottled blue and maroon glaze
