A very spicy, cloves and cinnamon nose. Takes one t🍌o the Cairo spice bazaar! Even voluptuous. Extremely luscious blackberry jam taste. Thicker in texture𝓡 than the 2007. It really feels like eating blackberries. Good acidity behind it. Maybe a glimmer of oak at 3 years old, but what seamless integration. A real "settled" feel in the mouth. DRC is really the king of the 2006s. All the wines were acquired on release directly from the Domaine and were cellared in p⛎rofessional temperature-controlled storage until removed for this auction. All the cases were sealed with the original bands from the Domaine until inspection by Sotheby’s Specialists
