A rare treasure from the Art Deco period, the present watch fully expresses Cartier's design philosophy. Just like wristwatches of the period, the case is forged in platinum, while the lugs are set with bullet-shaped, square and baguette-cut diamonds. It is empowered by a very petite European Watch & Clock co. movement which is impressive at that age, with a flat winding crown on its case back. The dial is cream coloured and signed "France" at the bottom, with blue steeled hands to tell the time. Preserved in a wonderful condition, it is an excellent addition to any watch collection.
