otheby’s Wine is delighted to continue our Spring season with The Visionary Singaporean Cellar | Finest & Rarest Wines. This online auction, closing on Tuesday 18th June, includes the first chapter in our presentation of The Visionary Singaporean Cellar; a stunning Single Owner consignment that comes from the meticulously curated cellar of one of Singapore’s longest-standing and most esteemed private 🃏collectors.
This visionary collector has sat at the heart of Singapore’s wine community for many years, and has gradually built what is one of the most respected and extensive cellars in the Lion City. They are incredibly humble, but for their fellow collectors in Singapore they are no doubt amongst the leading lights in the city, having championed the art of wine collecting and appreciation, and played no small role in building Singapore into the maj🐬or player in the fine wine market that it is today.
Singapore’s fine wine collectors have much to thank them for, but so too the new generation of great winemakers in Burgundy, Champagne, Spain and further afield. Over the years, this collector has diligently built relationships directly with many of Europe’s most revered producers, merchants, and their agents, and has done much as a disciple to support their new and next-generation winemakers at ♚every opportunity. Indeed, much of the reasoning behind this sale is to generate funds that will be subsequently used to support emerging and talented new winemakers in Burgundy and beyond.
All of the wines offered here were purchased directly on release from their respective producers’ agents, and subsequently kept in flawless conditions within a professional, bonded wine warehouse in Singapore. The provenance is therefore truly impeccable, and the unimpeachable quality of the stock is matched by this collector’s careful record-keeping – many of the original invoices for these wines had been kept, and were seen d🌺uring inspection by Sotheby’s team.
The consignment offered here is a small snapshot of the wider collection, and yet still reads like a who’s who of the greatest names in the wine world. The revered names of Romanée-Conti, Rousseau, Dujac, Roumier, Liger-Belair, Méo-Camuzet, de Vogüé, Fourrier, Ponsot and many more are all found in abundance. We also get a sense of this collector’s longstanding foresight, via the depth of wines offered from the likes of Bizot, Cécile Tremblay, Mugneret-Gibourg, and aged, older disgorgements from Jacques Selosse – all of which were purchased long before these producers were as popular as they are in the present day. We finish with fireworks from the Ribera del Duero, in the guise of an exceptional offering comprising more than 6 decades of Vega Sicilia’s Unico, offered from the 1940s right up to the 1990s.

蘇富比洋酒部欣然呈獻珍稀佳釀｜新加坡窖藏臻選，延續春拍佳績。今場網上拍賣於6月18日星期二結束，作為新加坡窖藏臻選的第一章，今次拍賣領銜的是令人驚豔的單一藏家珍藏，拍品出自新加坡一個歷史悠久的顯赫私人窖藏。
本窖藏主人富有遠見，多年來都是新加坡洋酒界的核心人物，一步一腳印地建立出獅城中品類最多樣的一個重要窖藏。他作風低調，但對新加坡的藏家同好而言，他無疑是指引城中收藏佳釀風潮的明燈，並對推動新加坡成為優質洋酒產業的重要市♑場貢獻良多。
承蒙藏主委託一系列珍稀佳釀外，新加坡的美酒鑑藏家亦應感謝布艮地、香檳區、西班牙以至更遠產區的新一代釀酒師。多年來，藏主直接與許多廣受尊敬的歐洲酒莊、商家及代理商建立友好關係，更利用一切機會支持當地的🍨新生代釀酒師。今次拍賣的大部分收益，將會用於支助培育布艮地等地的新晉釀酒師。
本單一藏家窖藏的洋酒於推出時直接購自酒莊的代理商，然後儲存於新加坡的恆溫酒窖，確保佳釀狀態絕佳。因此，今場拍品的來源實在無懈可擊，品質無容置疑，藏主一直小心記錄窖藏，保留了許多今場拍品的原有發票，並在驗收時經蘇富比團隊確認。
今次上拍的洋酒只佔藏主龐大收藏的一小部分，但所涵蓋酒品就如同洋酒界名人錄，包括Romanée-Conti、Rousseau、Dujac、Roumier、Liger-Belair、Méo-Camuzet、de Vogüé、Fourrier、Ponsot等知名酒莊的出品。同場尚有彰顯藏主目光遠大的Bizot、Cécile Tremblay、Mugneret-Gibourg等酒藏，以及Jacques Selosse的陳年和舊年份佳釀，全部均是藏主在這些酒莊名氣未如現在旺盛時購藏。最後再以Ribera del Duero產區出品作結，帶來橫跨六十年的Vega Sicilia旗艦酒Unico，當中包括1940年代至1990年代的美好年份。
