Sotheby’s is honored to present a selection of outstanding works from The Collection of Phyllis &amp; Jerome Lyle Rappaport as a highlight of the Contemporary Discoveries auction this fall. From works by acclaimed colorists David Hockney and Darryl Hughto to groundbreaking figuration across an array of media executed by Anthony Caro, Philip Pearlstein and Robert Freeman, the collection comprises the most celebrated artists and the greatest artistic movements of the Twentieth and Twenty-First centuries.
