This October, Sotheby's continues the celebration of five decades in Asia, presenting an array of Asian and European modern artists to showcase the spectacular spirits of the 20th century art scene. Leading the Modern Evening Auction is Zao Wou-Ki's Oracle Bone masterpiece Sous un grand arbre d'été - 05.07.54. From Kanagawa to Space showcases a series of figurative and abstract landscapes featuring artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Marc Chagall, Wu Guanzhong, Liu Kuo-Sung and Chu Teh-Chun, alongside a curation titled Flowers and Beauties, featuring Chen Yifei, Georgette Chen, Bernard Buffet, and Le Pho, Mai Trung Thu and Vu Cao Dam's works depicting Vietnamese beauties.
