Ms Carrie Li joined Sotheby’s Hong Kong in 2013 as Senior Specialist of Chinese Works of Art Department, based in Hong Kong. Having been in the auction business since 1998, Ms Li has developed close relationships with clients and dealers and brings with her a wealth of experience in the international market encompassing business getting, appraisals, client advisory, exhibition and auction. Ms Li is also a trained auctioneer and has ✅helped a number of charitable organisations in China raise funds through charity auctions.

Ms Li graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Commerce from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, before pursuing further studies in Chinese art connoisseurship at the Tsinghua University in Beijing. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, Putonghua and Shanghainese.
