Biography
Cecilia Treves joined Sotheby’s Old Master Paintings in 2014 as a research specialist. Before then she was Exhibitions Curator at the Royal Academy of Arts, London. At Sotheby’s she has been responsible for writing about some of💫 the most important paintings sold privately, as well as works sold at auction. Her particular interests lie in Italian painting but she also carries out research on a range of European Old Mastܫers.
