Claire Collini has been an integral part of Sotheby’s London Wine Department since 2𝄹000 and an auctioneer since 2005. Following a short period working as an independent consultant, Claire returned to Sotheby’s Wine Department in 2024 as Head of Auction Sales, UK. During the course of her career with Sotheby’s, Claire has been involved with some of the most outstandi✤ng wine collections ever brought to auction, travelling widely to visit clients and their cellars.

Claire obtained the WSET Diploma witꦜh Honours in 2003 and was the recipient of two scholarships: the Rafael Balao Lustau Memorial Trophy study visit to Jerez and the Constellation Wine Company scholarship study visit to Australia.

A modern language graduate, Clai💟re speaks fluent French, Spanish and German. Whilst her love of languages and travel may have led her to develop a passion for wine, it was durin🉐g her undergraduate days running the University of Bristol Wine Circle, that the seeds to be becoming a wine professional were first sown.
