Jodi Pollack serves as Sotheby’s Chairman and Co-Worldwide Head of 20th Century Design as well as Chairman of Major Collections. Sh🦋e has responsibility for organizing Sotheby’s expertise and developing strategy around the presentation of great estates and significant single-owner, cross-category collection sales. In this capacity, she oversees Sotheby’s global Collection Sale Management team as well as those of the regional art, furniture and decorative arts departments. Under her leadership, Sotheby’s has become the dominant Design market leader, achieving more than $800 million in total global sales since 2020.

For over 30 years, Ms. Pollack has developed close advisory relationships with many of the category’s most influential collectors worldwide and has cultivated cross-category engagement with a new generation of Design buyers. Durinඣg her time at Sotheby’s, she has sold some of the most important works of Design to appear at auction and has overseen numerous landmark single-owner sales, including A Legacy of Beauty: The Collection of Sydell Miller (2024) and The Wolf Family Collection: The Spirit of America (2023).

Prior to joining Sotheby’s in 2000, Ms. Pollack was a research associate in the American Decorative Arts department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Decor🥂ative Arts at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design at the University of Michigan.
