Sotheby’s Paris is pleased to present the next instalment of Modernités. This distinctive and prestigious evening auction presents a curated selection of works by world-renowned modern and contemporary masters, from the emergence of the European avant-garde to the Post-War period. Along with two masterpieces by René Magritte, a key abstraction by František Kupka, a landscape by Nicolas de Staël, oils by Fernand Léger, Miró and Marc Chagall, this year's edition will also showcase a selection of important modern and contemporary Italian masterworks by artists such as Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Lucio Fontana and Alighiero Boetti among others.
