This unique triple-conjoined revolving vase completed in 1754 was the crowning achievement of Tang Ying’s career, perhaps a farewell tribute to the Emperor. This innovative masterpiece was formerly in the collections of Chang Foo Yau (1884-1963), Manager of Ton-Ying &amp; Co., New York, and William H. Whitridge (1849-1936). Since its last appearance at the inaugural international auction in Beijing in 1992, it has been cherished exclusively in private for over thirty years.
