This drawing is in very good condition. The sheet is a standard sketchbook paper with the perforations from a ring binding along the top edge. As is to be expected, there are intermittent losses to these perforated tips of paper. There are some intermittent soft creases and crimps to the paper, most likely dating from the time of execution as the work has been in the current frame since prior to its purchase in 1968. The creases are primarily along the bottom 1/5 of the sheet of paper and along the right edge. There are also intermittent traces of graphite smudges and light handling, primarily in the upper left corner, along the left and right edges and just below the can image. The signature on the reverse is faintly visible in the proper lower left corner as framed, as is another notation on the reverse in the proper upper right corner as framed. The work is framed in a metal strip frame under plexiglass and hinged at the top corners to a ragboard mount.
