Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. It is hinged at the top corners to the ragboard mount and framed in a black painted strip frame under Plexiglas. There are faint remains from previous hinges on the reverse of the bottom two corners. In the lower right corner, there are soft diagonal creases primarily 1 ½ in. up from the bottom and 2 ½ in. up from the bottom. The sheet has very slightly yellowed with age and there is slight discoloration along the extreme edges. The work was formerly framed with a window measuring 6 ½ x 2 ½ in. in the backing board to reveal the signature on the reverse. The paper is slightly lighter in tone corresponding to this former window. There are slight ripples and soft crimps along the top edge, and slight ripples along the right half of the bottom edge.
