Condition
Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the tonality of the rhombus shapes in the third row tend more towards steel and the gold background is more metallic in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are four very small cream media accretions towards the centre of the composition. There is a small media mark towards the centre of the upper left quadrant. There is a pinhead-sized media accretion to the right of the signature and a further one towards the centre of the extreme bottom edge in the lower left quadrant. There is very faint curved rub mark starting from the extreme centre top edge of the top right hand quadrant. There is a further very faint rub mark towards the right centre edge of the upper right quadrant. There are spots of dirt beyond the edges of the composition at the recesses of the artist's frame. There are artist's pin holes at all four corners of each rhombus within the composition.
