Condition
STRUCTURE
Original canvas, with five small patches on the reverse.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in good, clean condition. There is a small area of repair work visible on close inspection to the right of the sitter's head.
ULTRAVIOLET
Ultraviolet light reveals scattered and very light re-touching.
FRAME
Held in an ornate gilt wood frame.
