Catalogue Note
This impressive Holy Family with Saints Elizabeth and John the Baptist is clearly inspired by Rubens' religious altarpieces of the 1630's. Although a convincing attribution for the picture has yet to be proposed, it does share some stylistic affinities with the works of Thomas Willeboirts, called Bosschaert.
