  • diameter 27mm.
*  jewelled nickel lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, wolf's tooth winding *  cream enamel dial, blue Breguet numerals *  gold case with translucent red enamel on guilloché background, centre of case finely decorated with a polychrome enamel cartouche featuring a putti carrying a garland of flowers, the cartouche edged with rose-cute diamonds, the case further enhanced with branches of flowers and leaves set with diamonds *  case, dial and movement signed, movement also signed by the retailer

Condition

The manual movement is running while cataloguing. Dial in good condition. There is a diamond missing from the decoration of the bezel. The enameling to the case is a little scuffed but overall the watch is in attractive original condition.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture with a cream-coloured dial with Breguet numerals and decorated with red enamel and rose-cut diamonds in 1895 and sale on October 18th, 1895. It also mentions that this watch originally had an outer repoussé case depicting 'Hercule'.
