Manual winding movement running while cataloguing, chronograph function operational, but may benefit from a service. The dial has been REFINISHED, and thus, this watch's dial DOES NOT qualify as a "Paul Newman" Daytona dial. White printing to subsidiaries appears partially reprinted, as does signature. Slight discoloration to centre of dial, but hardly noticeable. Case, bracelet and plastic top with some surface scuffs. Bezel in very good condition. Case clearly numbered "6043834 " between the lugs at 6 o'clock and "6263" between the lugs at 12 o'clock.

This watch was named after the first event of the Daytona race, the Rolex 24 Daytona, an intense 24-hour competition.  The "Paul Newman" Daytona possesses the style of dial made famous by the actor Paul Newman, who reportedly featured the watch in the film, Le Mans.

This iconic watch continues to capture the imagination of watch collectors and sports afficionados alike.
