- A RARE AND UNUSUAL WHITE GOLD CURVED TONNEAU SPLITSECONDS CHRONOGRAPH WRISTWATCH WITH ONE-MINUTE TOURBILLON, POWER RESERVE AND TORQUE INDICATOR DISPLAY CIRCA 2003 RM008-1
- length 48mm.
* cal.RM-008/1 tonneau titanium plate movement, one-minute tourbillon carriage visible at 6 o'clock with compensation balance, 37 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold and 5 positions * sapphire crystal dial with Arabic numerals and luminous markers, outer scale calibrated for tachymeter, skeletonized baton hands with luminous pointers, two fan-form sectors either side of the barrel to indicate 70-hour power reserve and displaying torque output of the main spring (from 0 to 65 dNmm), function selector display at 4 for W (Winding), N (Neutral) and H (Hands / Time Setting) all controlled through the rubber coated winding crown, slpit chronograph operated by 3 faceted pushers in the band, subsidiary dial at 9 for 30-minute register * 18k gold curved case with 4 lateral ribs for extra strength and rigidity, sapphire crystal display back, bezel with 12 titanium screws * case, dial and movement signed * with a brushed 18k white gold RM buckle
Condition
This is a superbly crafted rare watch. The manual chronograph movement is running well while cataloguing. Dial is in good condition. Case is in overall good condition, there are some minor surface scuffs to the bezel. Movement no.006.
The leather strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species, please refer to important notices for further information.
