Condition
In good condition. There is a small repaired area at the upper right corner of the polished breast plate , about 3/4 inches square, which is a darker, slightly pink toned bronze. There are approximately 10 small filled holes also comprised with this slightly darker bronze, scattered around the same polished central plate. These repairs were probably to address some small depressions that most likely resulted from bubbles that formed during the casting process, and all seem to be original.
There are also a few small pits in the center of the chest, unfilled but original to the casting process. There is a scratch to the polished metal, 1/4 long, at upper right. The rest of the work's black surface has been painted, making it difficult to see the original patina. The work has been recently cleaned and waxed.
