Catalogue Note

The highly stylized and vigorously drawn🌠 forms as well as the predominant brown, yellow and silver color tones, indicate a Kulu origin for these works. The humanoid depiction of the monkeys with cap-like heads and prominent snouts is also seen in paintings from Bilaspur and Basholi which influenced Kulu art꧋ists.
