The following four lots are from a dispersed ragamala album that was once in the Royal Collection of Mandi. The paintings have been assigned to the Bilaspur school on the basis of stylistic features, in particular the sensitive rendering of the faces and features of the female and male figures. The treatment of the background details and the color palette of the works suggest an admixture of Pahari and Deccani influences.
