Description
- detachable brooch fittings.
Of openwork design, centring on a cabochon emerald within scalloped surrounds set with rose-cut diamonds, accented with circular-cut and cushion-shaped stones in pinched collet settings,
Condition
Metal tests as silver and gold. Emerald estimated to weigh approximately 7.20 carats (gauged in mount), yellowish green hue with good saturation of colour, typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching and visible to the naked eye, lively stone. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.50 carats of mixed colour and clarity. Rose-cut diamonds. Signs of wear and tarnish to the mount commensurate with piece, well preserved, in good condition.
