The pendant watch of geometric form, centring on a marquise-shaped diamond, millegrain-set throughout with single-cut stones, the similarly-set trefoil surmount decorated with calibré-cut emeralds, the dial on the reverse set with Arabic numerals, to the scroll details, suspending from a long chain set with seed pearls interspersed by white enamelled bars,
Condition
Metal of the watch case tested as platinum. Total diamond weight excluding the marquise-shaped diamond approximately 1.80 carats, mixed in colour and clarity, some rose-cut diamonds to the long chain. The collet-set marquise-shaped diamond measures approximately 6.89x4.39x2.98m, estimated to weigh approximately 0.50 carats (gauged in mounting), I colour, SI-I clarity. Uneven colour to white enamel bars, two bars most probably redone. Manual movement in working condition at time of cataloguing. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Minor chip to glass hardly visible when worn. Signs of wear to the piece commensurate with age, overall in good condition.
