Designed as a crowing cockrel, decorated with cabochon rubies, brilliant-cut diamonds of brown and near-colourless tints, circular-cut sapphires, and variously-cut gemstones, mounted in yellow gold,
Condition
Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.90 - 3.30 carats, bright, lively stones throughout. Rubies in comb and wattle a medium dark slightly purplish red hue with strong saturation of colour, well matched, in the body the rubies a medium orangy red to slightly purplish red hue, typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, several with surface reaching inclusions and cavities. Sapphires a medium blue some with slightly weaker saturation of colour, well matched in size. Remaining size well matched in colour overall. Mount with light scratches to reverse, consistent with wear. In good condition.
