Description
Designed as a stylised peacock, set with a principal cushion-shaped diamond, its body, wings and tail set with circular- and brilliant-cut stones, to a single-cut ruby eye, mounted in white gold.
Condition
Stamped 750 for gold. The principal cushion-shaped diamond estimated to weigh 2.50 - 2.60 carats, measuring 8.7mm x 8.0mm x 4.4mm, in our experts' opinion this diamond is L colour, SI clarity. Remaining stones estimated to weigh approximately 6.00 carats, mixed colour and clarity, on average H-K colour, SI clarity. The ruby is most probably synthetic and has not been tested. Sliding safety catch, pin fitting a little bent. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
