Description
The center designed as a plaque of crescents and scrolls pavé-set with single-cut diamonds and accented with a vertical line of baguettes, continuing to graduated segments of interlocking pavé-set diamond scroll and crescent links, the total diamond weight approximately 18.00 carats, the necklace studded throughout with 26 natural pearls measuring approximately 10.6 by 10.4 mm. to 7.7 by 7.6 mm. and supporting three pearl drops, mounted in platinum, length approximately 16½ inches.
Condition
See GIA report stating the pearls are natural. They are a creamy rose shade, with overtones of peach and gold. They range from slightly waxy to very good luster and moderate blemishing. Some wrinkling of the skins, slightly off-round shapes and irregularities, typical of natural pearls. The diamonds are approximately H-I color and VS-SI clarity. In good condition. The clasp is quite stiff and takes a good deal of pressure to open.
