- Black Starr and Frost
The scrollwork cartouche set with 71 old European-cut, old-mine and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.25 carats, set in the center with a cushion-shaped emerald weighing approximately 20.00 carats, mounted in platinum and gold, engraved with initials H.H.B. to E.R.U.B., signed B.S& F., brooch fitting detachable.
Condition
The emerald is a medium very slightly bluish-green color and slightly to moderately included. Abrasions and minor chipping to the facet edges. Diamonds are G-J color, VS-SI clarity. Signed B. S. & F. on a plaque on the reverse, toward the bottom of the quatrefoil and engraved "H.H.B. to E.R.U.B." on the reverse, around the frame of the emerald. Fitted with a detachable brooch mechanism and a retractable pendant loop. Some discoloration to the gold on the reverse, but in good condition overall.
