Description

The pendant-brooch centering a sardonyx cameo carved with the profile of a woman in Renaissance costume, within a frame of foliate scrolls decorated at the sides with a pair of gold winged busts, anchored by a pearl of approximately 7.3 mm., supported on a necklace of openwork scroll and beadwork links, decorated throughout with green, white, black and  pink enamel, seed pearls, French-cut rubies, emeralds and sapphires, and small rose-cut diamonds, length 18½  inches, French import marks, segment detaches at back to shorten, pendant may be worn separately as a brooch. 

Condition

Colored stones of lively hues. Pearl has not been tested. Some losses to enamel. >French import marks on tongues of clasp and on brooch pin. Overall condition good.
