Description
The stylized floral spray set with 5 cushion-shaped and 1 old European-cut diamond together weighing 13.60 carats and 52 old European-cut, old-mine, single-cut and pear-shaped diamonds together weighing a total of approximately 4.20 carats, further decorated with 2 emerald-cut emeralds weighing 5.15 carats, 2 emerald-cut and cushion-shaped emeralds together weighing approximately 1.95 carats and numerous smaller emerald-cut and calibré-cut emeralds, mounted in platinum and 18 karat gold, signed Monture Cartier, assay marks.
Condition
In good overall condition. Three of the largest diamonds are loose but secure, some of the smaller ones are chipped. The overall color is H-J, VS-SI clarity. The 2 largest emeralds are a richly saturated shade of very slightly bluish green; one is eye-clean and the other is lightly inlcuded. The other emeralds are medium to medium-deep slightly bluish green and range from eye-clean to moderately included. One of the medium-sized emeralds is split in half, another is chipped. A few of the calibrés are chipped. The mounting has French marks for gold and platinum and a partial maker's mark. Pin bridge signed Monture Cartier.
