The brooch modelled as a single flower with petals composed of cultured keshi pearls centring on a cluster of rose-cut diamonds, interspersed throughout with rose-cut and rough diamonds, the stem pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and leaves set with tsavorite garnets together weighing approximately 2.65 and 2.15 carats respectively; the ring composed of a tumbled fire opal weighing approximately 12.55 carats, set on a diamond-set support, stylised with ribbon strands pavé-set with tsavorite and yellow garnets together weighing approximately 3.00 carats; mounted in 18 blackened gold. Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the keshi pearls are of brown-pink colour with visible patches of brownish golden colour. Tsavorite garnets are of medium to intense grass green colour, eye clean. Round and rose-cut diamonds are probably of I to J colours, VS to SI clarity. The rough diamonds are lightly tinted and included clarity. The baroque fire opal set on the ring are of graduated shades from milky to light orange colours, semi-transparent with noticeable play-of-colour. Both yellow and green garnets are of medium to intense saturation, eye clean. Condition: Decorative design, clever use of gemstones and pearls in irregular shapes. Both in very good condition.
