Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the foiled-back rose-cut diamonds are probably of J to L colours, SI to I1 clarity. A few diamonds may have chipped girdles or surface-reaching cavities, but all are not noticeable to naked eyes. The two cabochon rubies are of intense pink purple colour, clean to naked eyes. Condition: The plique-a-jour enameled wings are in good condition as the enamel is generally intact. Minor abrasion to the mount and slight tarnishing to the gold mount to the back, which are consistent with age and use, otherwise in good condition.
