Description

- 1920
The purse formed of gold mesh, the platinum openwork frame decorated with floral scrolls embellished with circular-cut diamonds, anchored by a chain of beaded tassels, and supported by a gold mesh handle, signed and inscribed.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the diamonds are probably of I to K colours, mostly VS clarity, gross weight approximately 102 dwts. Signed to the interior, and inscriptions of "IRENE LANIER . NEW YORK . MAY 22, 1922" to the frame.
Condition: Slight discolouration to the metal, particularly to the frame. Signs of wear and abrasions, consistent to age and use, with a tiny hole on one side of the purse, otherwise in good condition.
