a plate from Portfolio V (New York, 1971), mounted, signed by the photographer and numbered sequentially and '17/110' in an unidentified hand in pencil on the mount, the portfolio stamp, titled, dated, and numbered in an unidentified hand in ink, on the reverse, matted, 1959, printed in 1971, no. 17 in an edition of 110 (Portfolios, p. 85)
Condition
This photograph is in generally very good condition. In raking light the following are visible: a one-inch vertical scratch that trails off in various directions at the upper left quadrant; a number of small surface scratches overall; a couple of small circular areas where the print has a high gloss from glass offsetting.
There is a long strip of linen tape remnant at the top and bottom edges of the reverse of the mount.
