SURFACE:
The painting appears in good original condition. There is some good thick impasto to the paint surface.
UV LIGHT:
Under UV light the painting appears to be untouched.
FRAME:
Contained in a Victorian plaster moulded gilt frame (slightly damaged).
COLOUR COMPARISON
The colours are not as hot as the catalogue illustration suggests.
