Condition

STRUCTURE: The panel is sound although there is some evidence of thin horizontal splits running mainly on the lower half of the painting. SURFACE: The paint surface appears stable and dirty and may benefit from cleaning. UV LIGHT: Under UV the painting appears untouched. FRAME: Contained in a painted wood frame. COLOUR COMPARISON: The original is more colourful than the catalogue illustration suggests.
