STRUCTURE:
The board is sound.
SURFACE:
The paint surface is in good original condition, slightly dirty and should benefit from light cleaning.
UV LIGHT:
Under UV Light a small dark area appears in the bottom right hand corner and also along the top edge in the middle approximately four inches long appears and further to the far right edge by the tree and to the right of the central tree. This could be where the artist has reworked the picture or this could be retouchings.
FRAME:
Contained in a good quality gilt and partially painted wooden frame, ready to hang.
COLOUR COMPARISON:
The original is slightly darker than the catalogue illustration suggests.
