Condition

STRUCTURE: Relined. SURFACE: The canvas appears to be in good original condition, slightly dirty and should benefit from cleaning. On the reverse there appears to be some areas of mould attached to the canvas. UV LIGHT: Under UV Light retouchings appear in the bottom right hand corner and top left hand corner where the canvas has rubbed against the frame. Minor retouchings also appear in the sky, top left hand side and a few spots elsewhere and on the lower neck of the white horse. FRAME: Contained in a plaster moulded frame. COLOUR COMPARISON: Colours are stronger and not as bright as the catalogue illustration suggests.
