UV LIGHT: Under UV retouchings appear along the top edge where the canvas has rubbed against the frame. There are minor retouchings to the sitter's dress and a few speckles elsewhere. FRAME: Contained in a modern gilt painted wood frame with lime oak insert. COLOUR COMPARISON: The colours appear darker than the catalogue illustration suggests.
