The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting is in lovely condition. The canvas was lined quite a long time ago and the paint layer is stable and well preserved. The paint layer seems to be clean and lightly varnished. No abrasion or paint loss has occurred and there do not appear to be any retouches. This painting may be hung as is.
