The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting has been recently restored and should be hung as is. The picture is painted on a wooden panel which is not reinforced and the paint layer is stable. Although the painting is loosely painted in the darker areas, there appear to be no retouches of note. This picture should be hung as is.
