Condition
The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.:
This painting has not been recently cleaned and is noticeably dirty. There is an addition to the panel on the right side, attaching 1 ½ inches of wood to this edge and another ½ inch beneath the signature. Both of these additions are original. The joins to the panels are slightly visible.
There are some retouches addressing a few losses in the lower right corner and in the upper right side. The original joins have some slight instability, yet other than this, the paint layer is well preserved.
